Send the Toxic Tory Co Council a Message to Stop the Bypass!
There is not a lot of time if the consultation on the Bypass Western Routes is to begin on the 6th February.
Our priority is to ensure that a maximum number of people, all around Hereford and Herefordshire, are made aware of the opportunity to find out more and ask questions to Councillors and Officers during this time.
This means that whoever amongst who uses social media should keep mentioning it! We are on Facebook and Twitter: #wyeruinit #stopherefordbypass
It's not going to be easy to alert people!
The new Editor at the Hereford Times seems to be avoiding many controversial local subjects, especially online.
Recent letters are not being published to allow comments, but the road routes are shown in last Thursday's paper and an updated report from the Cabinet meeting is online so add your comments.
Neither is the Hereford Times challenging the outrageous claims made by Cllr Price about demand for this road, cost or effect. By his own admission, he has not even read the Breinton Neighbourhood plan or any of the research on the detrimental effects of roads on our health and expressed no interest in recent research by the University of Birmingham documented by the BBC!
By the way, the council’s own transport consultation stated a majority support the bypass but found that only 46% of people who responded agreed that a bypass was a good idea, not necessarily a Western one, and 35 of these respondents who objected to the bypass were counted as only 1 respondent!
Please circulate the message below which is about who to write to, if people are worried about road plans.
The more individuals making their objections known, the better!
