Last Day to comment on the Hereford Area Plan
Today is the last day you can comment on the Hereford Area Plan. It’s quick and easy, but very important.
Here are a few key points that you can make:
New housing developments rely on outdated car based transport and should be built with futuristic smart mass transport and active transport solutions
35% more houses than are needed are being planned
Vital information on environmental impact is excluded from the consultation including proximity to protected areas, water source protection zones (areas 21 and 22) and areas of flooding from surface waters
Loss of Grade 1 agricultural soils (areas 23 and 24)
Failure to mention plans to build 1,000 on the Three Elms Flood Plain.
