PROTEST TOMORROW at Shire Hall, Hereford, from 9am before the meeting of Herefordshire Council's General Scrutiny Committee at 10am. This Committee is charged with "scrutinising" the "preferred" RED ROUTE for a so-called bypass before it is "approved" By Herefordshire Council Cabinet on 27th July (also 10am at Shire Hall).
The EXTREME HASTE to approve this route has not left sufficient time to read the 1700+pages of Hereford Transport Package reports published only last week. There has not been enough time to study the maps and understand all the implications.
SURELY THERE MUST BE A LOT MORE TIME ALLOWED TO SCRUTINISE THIS VERY IMPORTANT DECISION,
- DUE TO COST AROUND £200 MILLION?
